Spring Special Exhibition "Buddha's Belongings and Esoteric Buddhist Ritual Implements"

Some Buddhas in statues and paintings are depicted holding something in their hands. Well-known images include Bodhisattva holding a lotus flower and Acala holding a sword.
In mandalas, Buddhas are depicted holding lotus flowers, swords, and various other weapons and esoteric Buddhist ritual implements. These are not only used by monks during esoteric Buddhist ceremonies and memorial services, but the esoteric Buddhist ritual implements themselves can also represent Buddha.
In this special exhibition, we will focus on what is held in the Buddha's hands and introduce the items and their meanings.
