Special exhibit: "Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Mount Koya"

In 1585, Toyotomi Hideyoshi attempted to burn down Mount Koya, but was stopped by the intervention of the monk Mokkoku Oki. Hideyoshi became a follower of the monk and became the patron of Mount Koya, rebuilding as many as 25 temples and pagodas.
In addition, Hideyoshi's adopted son, Hidetsugu, fell out of favor, was exiled to Mount Koya, and was ordered to commit suicide. The death poem that he is said to have composed at that time will also be made public.
