“Important Cultural Property Aizened Myoo Statue on Silk” conservation and repair project completed, special exhibition held

During the three-year plan from Heisei 19 to 21, the preservation and repair of the Important Cultural Property, the colored silk painting of Aizen Myoo (Kamakura period, Kongobu-ji Temple) was carried out at the Cultural Property Preservation and Repair Center Uchioka Bokukodo. The work has now been completed as scheduled, and the statue will be open to the public for a limited time.
