Tokugawa Family Mausoleum Ieyasu Mausoleum
The Tokugawa family mausoleum, which is usually viewed from outside the sacred fence, will be open for a limited time.
The Tokugawa family mausoleum, a representative example of architecture from the early Edo period, consists of two mausoleums dedicated to the first Tokugawa shogun, Ieyasu, and the second, Hidetada. The beauty of its structure is a must-see, and it can be said to be "Nikko Toshogu Shrine in the east and Koyasan Tokugawa family mausoleum in the west."
