"Special Feature: The World of Sutras"

The Issaikyo is a collection of Buddhist scriptures, and has been repeatedly copied and published since ancient times. In Japan,Luxury(luxuryWe will introduce four types of Buddhist scriptures, including the "Ichi-kyo Sutra with Gold and Silver Letters on Blue Paper" and "Ichi-kyo Sutra with Gold Letters on Blue Paper" from the Heian period, which are representative of these, as well as the "Song Edition Ichi-kyo Sutra" and "Koryo Edition Ichi-kyo Sutra" that were printed in China and the Korean peninsula and brought to Japan, and guide you into the beautiful world of Buddhist scriptures.

Special exhibition of "Throwing Flowers - Entering Esoteric Buddhism" by Tatsuo Takayama

Additionally, the main building’s Shiunden Hall will host a special exhibition of the folding screen by Japanese painter Tatsuo Takayama (1912-2007) “Touka – Entering Esoteric Buddhism,” donated to Kongobu-ji Temple in 1999.
