There are various types of "containers" to house, hold, or wrap Buddha statues, scriptures, etc., in order to protect them. Sometimes the container is more dazzling, historically valuable, or aesthetically superior than the contents.
However, the value of these items is not determined by their beauty of form, their state of preservation, or even by the impression they give at first glance. The fact that the contents and container have been handed down as a set to this day gives them value as cultural assets, and this fact gives them great historical significance.
This exhibition will focus on and introduce the hidden value of cultural properties by allowing visitors to view them together with the containers that protect them.
