The 44th Great Treasure House Exhibition "Treasures of Mount Koya" (Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the World Heritage Registration)

This time, the Great Treasure Exhibition will be exhibiting four of Unkei's National Treasure Eight Great Children Statues for the first time in three years to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the World Heritage registration. Why not come and see the Eight Great Children, who are not usually on display? Many precious treasures from Mount Koya will also be on display.
Also, as this special exhibition is held during the Obon festival, the theme will be hell and paradise, which are said to exist in the afterlife. It has been said since ancient times that if people do bad things in life and then die, they will go to hell, but if they die having done good deeds, they will be guided to the paradise where Buddha resides. Please come and experience the world of suffering in hell and salvation in paradise, the afterlife, as if you were going to experience it.
